I am a Postdoctoral Research Assistant with a focus on planetary atmospheres and their evolution. At Oxford, my work involves modelling variations in trace gases in Mars' atmosphere to explain observations currently being made by the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter. I also have research experience in simulating hydrogen escape from Mars' and Venus' atmospheres and the evolution of ozone and oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere over geological time. For my PhD in Earth Sciences, I used photochemical modelling to predict isotope signatures preserved in the rock record. Throughout my career to date, I have been interested in applying my studies of terrestrial solar system planets to exoplanet systems and astrobiology.
