I lead the Physics IT team, I came to the Physics department with a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and control systems programming. Over the last 30+ years I've programmed Digital Equipment VAX's, administered Apollo, Sun and DEC Unix systems, run HTC Linux computing clusters and been heavily involved with the GridPP project.
The Physics IT Team provide support for a diverse range of activities including High Performance Computing Clusters, Desktop computing, Data Aquisition and control systems, Web and databases, Networking, A/V, Digital Signage and Printing. See details about the IT Team.
