I am a DPhil student in Prof. Laura Herz's group, investigating the optoelectronic properties of novel metal halide semiconductors interfaced with charge-transport layers for next-generation photovoltaic applications. I am particularly interested in elucidating the charge-carrier loss mechanisms at these interfaces, which are known to be a key bottleneck to achieving higher-efficiency solar cells. By providing insight into interfacial photophysics, I hope my research will provide a guideline for improving the performance of next-generation photovoltaics research.
