Shubham is a DPhil student working in the Planetary Atmosphere Observation Analysis group. His research focuses on the calculation of radiative fluxes in the atmosphere of Venus. He is using NEMESIS (Non-linear optimal Estimator for MultivariatE Spectral analysIS) to reanalyze the observations from previous in-situ missions, in order to constrain the cloud properties and to determine the presence of near-surface haze layers. Another part of his research focuses on radiative transfer simulations to support future missions to Venus.
