Abstract:

We report a study of the decay D0→K̄0π-e+νe based on a sample of 2.93 fb-1 e+e- annihilation data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The total branching fraction is determined to be B(D0→K̄0π-e+νe)=(1.434±0.029(stat.)±0.032(syst.))%, which is the most precise to date. According to a detailed analysis of the involved dynamics, we find this decay is dominated with the K∗(892)- contribution and present an improved measurement of its branching fraction to be B(D0→K∗(892)-e+νe)=(2.033±0.046(stat.)±0.047(syst.))%. We further access their hadronic form-factor ratios for the first time as rV=V(0)/A1(0)=1.46±0.07(stat.)±0.02(syst.) and r2=A2(0)/A1(0)=0.67±0.06(stat.)±0.01(syst.). In addition, we observe a significant K̄0π- S-wave component accounting for (5.51±0.97(stat.)±0.62(syst.))% of the total decay rate.

Abstract:

The first observation of two structures consistent with resonances in the final states Λ_{b}^{0}π^{-} and Λ_{b}^{0}π^{+} is reported using samples of pp collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at sqrt[s]=7 and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3  fb^{-1}. The ground states Σ_{b}^{±} and Σ_{b}^{*±} are also confirmed and their masses and widths are precisely measured.

Measurement of the Charm-Mixing Parameter yCP

Physical Review Letters American Physical Society 122:1 (2019) 011802

Authors:

R Aaij, CA Beteta, B Adeva, M Adinolfi, CA Aidala, Z Ajaltouni, S Akar, P Albicocco, J Albrecht, F Alessio, M Alexander, A Alfonso Albero, G Alkhazov, PA Cartelle, AA Alves Jr, S Amato, S Amerio, Y Amhis, L An, L Anderlini, G Andreassi, M Andreotti, JE Andrews, F Archilli, P D'Argent, JA Romeu, A Artamonov, M Artuso, K Arzymatov, E Aslanides, M Atzeni, B Audurier, S Bachmann, JJ Back, Stephen Baker, V Balagura, W Baldini, A Baranov, RJ Barlow, GC Barrand, S Barsuk, W Barter, M Bartolini, F Baryshnikov, V Batozskaya, B Batsukh, A Battig, V Battista, A Bay, J Beddow

Abstract:

A measurement of the charm-mixing parameter yCP using D0 → KþK−, D0 → πþπ−, and D0 → K−πþ decays is reported. The D0 mesons are required to originate from semimuonic decays of B− and B0 mesons. These decays are partially reconstructed in a data set of proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV collected with the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1. The yCP parameter is measured to be ð0.57 0.13ðstatÞ 0.09ðsystÞÞ%, in agreement with, and as precise as, the current world-average value.
