My work is on nonlinear wave-wave and wave-particle interactions in connection with high power microwave based plasma heating and current drive in magnetically confined fusion reactors. In particular, I work with Prof Michael Barnes to investigate the interplay between turbulence and microwave non-linearities in connection with electron Bernstein wave operation in the MAST-U tokamak.
