Search for the disappearance of muon antineutrinos in the NuMI neutrino beam
Physical Review D - Particles, Fields, Gravitation and Cosmology 84:7 (2011)
Abstract:
We report constraints on antineutrino oscillation parameters that were obtained by using the two MINOS detectors to measure the 7% muon antineutrino component of the NuMI neutrino beam. In the Far Detector, we select 130 events in the charged-current muon antineutrino sample, compared to a prediction of 136.4±11.7(stat)-8.9+10.2(syst) events under the assumption |Δm̄2|=2.32×10-3eV2, sin2(2θ̄)=1.0. Assuming no oscillations occur at the Near Detector baseline, a fit to the two-flavor oscillation approximation constrains |Δm̄2|<3.37×10-3eV2 at the 90% confidence level with sin2(2θ̄)=1.0. © 2011 American Physical Society.Measurement of the neutrino component of an antineutrino beam observed by a nonmagnetized detector

Measurement of branching ratio and Bs0 lifetime in the decay Bs0→J/ψf0 (980) at CDF
Physical Review D - Particles, Fields, Gravitation and Cosmology 84:5 (2011)
Abstract:
We present a study of Bs0 decays to the CP-odd final state J/ψf 0(980) with J/ψ→μ+μ- and f 0(980)→π+π-. Using pp̄ collision data with an integrated luminosity of 3.8fb-1 collected by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron we measure a Bs0 lifetime of τ(Bs0→J/ψf0(980))=1.70-0.11+0.12(stat)±0.03(syst) ps. This is the first measurement of the Bs0 lifetime in a decay to a CP eigenstate and corresponds in the standard model to the lifetime of the heavy Bs0 eigenstate. We also measure the product of branching fractions of Bs0→J/ψf0(980) and f0(980)→π +π- relative to the product of branching fractions of Bs0→J/ψ and →K+K- to be Rf0 /=0.257±0.020(stat)±0.014(syst), which is the most precise determination of this quantity to date. © 2011 American Physical Society.Search for the Higgs boson in the all-hadronic final state using the CDF II detector
