Studies of WW and WZ production and limits on anomalous WWγ and WWZ couplings
Physical Review D Particles Fields Gravitation and Cosmology 60:7 (1999)
Abstract:
Evidence of anomalous (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) production was sought in (Formula presented) collisions at a center-of-mass energy of (Formula presented) The final states (Formula presented) jet (Formula presented) (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) were studied using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of approximately (Formula presented) No evidence of anomalous diboson production was found. Limits were set on anomalous (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) couplings and were combined with our previous results. The combined 95% confidence level anomalous coupling limits for (Formula presented) are (Formula presented) (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) (Formula presented) assuming the (Formula presented) couplings are equal to the (Formula presented) couplings. © 1999 The American Physical Society. The NA48 LKr calorimeter readout electronics

The atmospheric neutrino flavor ratio from a 3.9 fiducial kiloton-year exposure of Soudan 2
Physics Letters, Section B: Nuclear, Elementary Particle and High-Energy Physics 449:1-2 (1999) 137-144
Abstract:
We report a measurement of the atmospheric neutrino flavor ratio, R, using a sample of quasi-elastic neutrino interactions occurring in an iron medium. The flavor ratio (tracks/showers) of atmospheric neutrinos in a 3.9 fiducial kiloton-year exposure of Soudan 2 is 0.64 ± 0.11(stat.) ± 0.06(syst.) of that expected. Important aspects of our main analysis have been checked by carrying out two independent, alternative analyses; one is based upon automated scanning, the other uses a multivariate approach for background subtraction. Similar results are found by all three approaches. © 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.χc2 formation in two-photon collisions at LEP
