Abstract:

Elements of quantum-computing networks using adiabatically generated single photons from atom-cavity systems are shown. Higher-order interference, essential for linear-optical quantum computing, is demonstrated, and this effect is also used for entangling individual atoms with light. © 2003 Optical Society of America.
