We are leading a community effort to develop an automated model/data Community Intercomparison Suite (CIS). CIS simplifies a wide range of tedious tasks in intercomparison (read-in of heterogeneous gridded and ungridded model data and observations, reduction, co-location, and analysis) to a set of simple commands.
CIS is deployed for community use at the CEDA JASMIN data cluster but is designed as open source software that can be easily installed locally. All information, a detailed documentation and installation instructions can be found on www.cistools.net.
