The LHC-B Level-1 trigger
NUCL INSTRUM METH A 368:1 (1995) 169-174
Abstract:
The LHC-B Level-1 trigger will consist of high p(t) muon, electron and hadron components. The requirements at Level-1 are discussed and the algorithms and performances of these sub-triggers described. A possible running scenario is explored and the consequent signal efficiencies and trigger rates are given.A measurement of the photon structure function F2 γ at an average Q2 of 12 GeV2/c4
Zeitschrift fur Physik C-Particles and Fields 69:2 (1995) 223-233
Abstract:
The hadronic photon structure function F2γ has been measured in the Q2 range from 4 to 30 GeV2/c4 and down to x values of order 0.001, using data taken with the DELPHI detector at LEP between 1991 and 1993. A comparison is made with several F2γ parameterizations with special emphasis on their low x behaviour. A result on the Q2 evolution of F2γ is presented. © Springer-Verlag 1996.A measurement of the photon structure function F2 γat an average Q2of 12 GeV2/c4

Zeitschrift für Physik C Particles and Fields 65:4 (1995) 627-647
Abstract:
A search for excited states of the standard model fermions was performed using the ZEUS detector at the HERA electron-proton collider, operating at a centre of mass energy of 296 GeV. In a sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.55 pb-1, no evidence was found for any resonant state decaying into final states composed of a fermion and a gauge boson. Limits on the coupling strength times branching ratio of excited fermions are presented for masses between 50 GeV and 250 GeV, extending previous search regions significantly. © 1995 Springer-Verlag.A study of radiative muon-pair events at Z0 energies and limits on an additional Z′ gauge beson
