Quantum matter in high magnetic fields

Our group has collaborated extensively with scientists at the i05 beamline at the Diamond Light Source for a series of studies of the electronic structure of iron-based superconductors. We also perform DFT calculations to be able to compare the experiments to the band structure predictions. ARPES experiments can be performed under applied strain as well as using in-situ dosing to alter the electronic structure of quantum materials.
