I am a 4th year DPhil student in the Fusion Plasma Theory group working with Prof Felix Parra Diaz (University of Oxford) and Dr Fulvio Militello (Culham Centre for Fusion Energy). I try to understand the effects of collisions on the plasma and the electromagnetic fields in a boundary layer that develops near the divertor inside a tokamak.
