Persistent current of a microcavity polariton condensate in a ring geometry

Optics InfoBase Conference Papers (2014)

Authors:

G Liu, D Snoke, A Daley, L Pfeiffer, K West

Abstract:

We have created microcavity polaritons with a lifetime of about 200 ps, which allows them to condense in the ground state of a ring trap. Optical measurements show they have quantized vorticity. © 2014 OSA.
