Dr Hardman completed his undergraduate degree in 2015 (Master of Physics, Christ Church, University of Oxford), and went on to complete his doctorate in 2019 (Theoretical Physics, Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford). His postdoctoral research on multiscale plasma turbulence was funded by EPSRC via TDoTP. Dr Hardman's main research interest is the electron response in magnetised plasmas, and the consequent varied phenomena that span a wide range of space and time scales.
