I am a third-year DPhil candidate in Prof Vlatko Vedral's group, working in the fields of quantum information and quantum thermodynamics. During my PhD, I am focusing on improving our understanding of the emergence of thermal equilibrium in isolated quantum systems. I previously graduated from the MSc in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at Oxford, where I specialised in theoretical particle physics and quantum information. I wrote my dissertation on the necessity of quantising gravity and on constructor theory, under the supervision of Dr Chiara Marletto. I also hold a BSc in Theoretical Physics from UCL, where I graduated 1st across all BSc Physics and Astronomy programmes for the graduating 2019/20 cohort. I am originally from Venice, Italy.
