PhD positions
We are recruiting PhD students to start in October 2026
Two fully funded PhD positions (covering tuition fees and stipend) supported by The Royal Society are available for the academic year starting October 2026. The research project will focus on the development of 2D spin memory and logic devices.
We are also seeking a motivated PhD candidate to work on a unique project on 'physical neuromorphic computing and robotics'. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact us as early as possible to explore funding opportunities.
All candidates should apply through the below Oxford Physics Condensed Matter Physics (CMP) application portal, where the projects will be listed. In the application form, you will have the option to select your preferred project and supervisor.
The application portal is expected to open in October 2025, with a deadline in January 2026. For more details and to apply, please visit: Oxford Physics DPhil in Condensed Matter Physics
Feel free to contact if you are a candidate who wishes to join the group with external funding proposals.
