New family of superconducting copper oxides: GaSr2 Ln1-x Cax Cu2 O7
Physica C: Superconductivity and its applications 193:1-2 (1992) 63-67
Abstract:
We have prepared a new copper oxide, GaSr2Ln1-xCaxCu2O7 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4), that becomes superconducting a high-pressure oxygen annealing. While the undoped parent compound, x = 0, does not show three-dimensional magnetic order above 4 K, probably due to the presennce of the thick ionic separating the CuO2 layers, superconductivity with a high-Tc (∼70 K) is possible for the doped compositions. © 1992.Structural inhomogeneities in oxygen-deficient ErBa2Cu3O6+x associated with the tetragonal-to-orthorhombic transition: Evidence of first-order behavior.
