Spinodal decomposition in binary fluids

Abstract:
We use lattice Boltzmann simulations to investigate the way in which the spinodal decomposition of binary fluids depends on their viscosity and diffusivity. Both bulk phase separation and ordering in a lamellar structure are discussed.Surface spin-flop and discommensuration transitions in antiferromagnets
