Spinodal decomposition in binary fluids

(1999) 46-55

Authors:

AJ Wagner, JM Yeomans

Abstract:

We use lattice Boltzmann simulations to investigate the way in which the spinodal decomposition of binary fluids depends on their viscosity and diffusivity. Both bulk phase separation and ordering in a lamellar structure are discussed.
