Detailed spectral analysis of 2D photonic crystal structures embedded into ridge waveguides

Abstract:
2D Photonic Crystals (PhC) were patterned into free-standing GaAs/AlGaAs ridge waveguides. Detailed characterization and Fourier analysis of the data were used to assess the performance of the PhC.
