Abstract:

The study of D*sJ(2317)+ and D sJ(2460)+ meson production in B decays was reported. The decays B+→D(*sJ +̄D(*)0 and B0→D (*)sJ+ D(*̄ was observed. The branching functions for these modes was obtained based on the sample of 122.1 × 106 B̄B pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B factory. An angular analysis of DsJ(2460) + → D+s γ decays was also performed.

Abstract:

A measurement of the direct CP violating asymmetry in the decay B 0→K+π- is discussed using a data sample of 227×106 υ(4S)→BB̄ decays. It is found that direct CP violation does not involve particle-antiparticle oscillations. The data sample is collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at SLAC. The probability of observing an asymmetry is 1.3×10-5, in the absence of direct CP violation, corresponding to 4.2 standard deviations.

Abstract:

The time-dependent CP-violating (CPV) asymmetries in B0 → KS0π0 decays based on 124×10 6 υ(4S) → BB̄ decays are measured. The asymmetries are collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at SLAC. The magnitudes of the direct CPV asymmetry and of the CPV asymmetry in the interference between mixing and decay are obtained in a sample containing 122 ± 16 signal decays. It is found that the first error is statistical in nature while the second is systematic.

Abstract:

The disappearance decays of B0 mesons, where the B0 decay contains no observable final state particles or invisible decay products with a single photon, was investigated. The decays have branching fractions below the experimental sensitivity and physics models are used to predict significant contributions from these channels. The limits on branching fractions for B0 decays to an invisible final state and for B0 decays to vv̄y branching fractions.
