Abstract:

The time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in partial reconstruction of B0 → D*=∓π∓ decays and constraints on sin(2β + γ) were investigated. The events containing decays were selected with partial reconstruction technique in which only high-momentum π∓ from the B decay and low-momentum π+ from D*∓ were used. The analysis was carried out with series of unbinned maximum-likelihood fits, which were performed simultaneously on the on- and off-resonance data samples. The amplitude of asymmetry was observed to be -0.063∓0.024(stat)∓0.014(stat).

Abstract:

The CP-violating asymmetries in fully reconstructed B0 → D(*)∓π decays and constraints on sin(2β + γ) were investigated. The time evolution of decays was sensitive to γ because of interference between the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) favored decay and doubly CKM-suppressed decay. The consistency of data was computed with given value of sin(2β + γ) by counting fraction of simulated experiments for which χ 2(sin(2β + γ))-χmin2 was smaller. The lower limit on |sin(2β + γ)| was observed at 68% confidence level which drops from 0.69 to 0.60.

Abstract:

Decays that measure the ratio of branching fractions and searches for direct CP violations were analyzed. The decays were collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B factory at SLAC. The fitted asymmetries for the small observed differences in the tracking efficiency were corrected between positively and negatively charged track. It was found that the uncertainty in the fixed parameters of the PDFs, determined by fits to stimulated or nonsignal data sets, contributed 0.001 to the systematic errors.

Abstract:

A search for single top production (e+e -→tc̄) via flavour changing neutral currents (FCNC) was performed using the data taken by the DELPHI detector at LEP2. The data analyzed have been accumulated at center-of-mass energies ranging from 189 to 208 GeV. Limits at 95% confidence level were obtained on the anomalous coupling parameters κγ and κZ.

Abstract:

The measurement of R, Rcp+, and Acp+ were presented. B- → D° K-decays with D° mesons decaying to non-CP and CP-even eigenstates were reconstructed. It was observed that the charged-particle tracking was provided by a five-layer silicon vertex tracker (SVT). It was shown that the parametrization of the particle identication PDF was performed by fitting with a Gaussian distribution.
