On the 18th-19th March, the Oxford Centre for High Energy Density Science (OxCHEDS) celebrated its 10-year anniversary at the OxCHEDS Annual Meeting.

The Institute of Physics’ annual Culham Thesis Prize has been awarded to Dr Thomas Gawne for research he carried out as member of the Oxford Centre for High Energy Density Science (OxCHEDS).

Professor Peter Norreys has been awarded the American Nuclear Society's Edward Teller Medal.

The OxCHEDS Annual Meeting was held on the 20-21 March 2023 at Trinity College Oxford, attracting a record 54 registrants in approximately equal numbers from Oxford and AWE.
